Solo Projects and Performances
Since 2016 Steve Kirchuk has been playing a hybrid Charlie Hunter style 7-string electric guitar and a custom Martin hybrid. Both guitars have bass strings and regular guitar strings. The electric is tuned low to high D-E-A on bass strings and D-G-B-E on guitar strings. The Martin has the E-A as bass strings.
Open Mic
The Habitat for Humanity Open Mic on the 4th Fridays of the month are hosted by Steve Kirchuk. Drummer Tom Donohue often plays along on drums. This clip also features Brian Kathenes on banjo.
